Dick models wanted

San Francisco photographer would like to photograph your (male) genitalia for "art photography book project."

This is a documentary-style book project and not porn related whatsoever. The images will ONLY show your pelvic region - no faces revealed. We want to represent the widest array of men possible... All published models will receive a copy of the book.

I wonder if they'll tell you which page you're on.

PETA's Sexiest Vegetarian Alive Results

PETA contest winnersThe results of PETA's sexiest vegetarian alive contest are in: sisters Justine and Lisa Bradley are the hottest "tofutti cuties" and "Zachary" is the hottest "soy boy."
Listing "generally slimmer, fitter, and healthier than meat-eaters" as advantages for vegetarians probably won't win PETA friends among body image activists, but I guess that's an issue they're not concerned with...

World of Warcraft

It's a great game.
I bought a copy in early January; started playing mid-January; played for 7 days. Developed a 17th-level Night Elf Druid, 13th-level Human Warlock, and 13th-level Undead Warrior. Had a helluva lot of fun. My dreams started turning to WoW themes. I still made it out of the house to yoga class, but other real-life things were starting to slip.
When I first started playing, I figured I could afford to play for a month, despite the time I knew I'd put into this virtual world. But on the 7th day, a friend told me about the "/played" command, which tells you how much time you've spent playing your character. Looking at the total, it took just a few minutes for me to decide to cancel my account, uninstall the game, and give the CDs to someone to hold onto for me. Maybe some day I'll take a week or two off of work and just play WoW for an in-home vacation; but the time-suck and attraction is too great to have it laying around the house.

Christian Recruitment in World of Warcraft

The extreme Christians at Landover Baptist Church have a "report" on winning souls for Jesus Christ in World of Warcraft:

"He can climb right up to the top of the dwarf statue by the gates of Stormwind City and start street preaching to the Dark Elves and they will listen to everything he says. He's done conversion duels on multiple servers where he challenges other players to duel with him. If he wins, they accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. If he loses (which he never has) he will give them 6 pieces of silver."

eppi.com : my one-man web development corp. (I'm for hire)
voteprotect.org : I'm helping build the Election Incident Reporting System (EIRS), and we could really use some volunteer sysadmins and PHP programmers interested in safeguarding democracy...
